About Us - We Test Rapid

On the occasion of World AIDS Day ARCO organizes its second We Test program – Health on the go – promoted byArcigay – Associazione LGBTI+ Italiana, ARCO – Associazione Ricreativa Circoli Omosessuali, Associazione Culturale e di Volontariato ARC Onlus, ASA – Associazione Solidarietà AIDS Milano, Circolo di Cultura Omosessuale Mario Mieli, Ireos – Centro Servizi Autogestito Comunità Queer, NPS – Network Persone Sieropositive Onlus, NUDI – Nessuno Uguale Diversi Insieme, Plus – Persone Lgbt Sieropositive Onlus.

The program takes place in over 15 cities: Turin, Milan, Padua, Verona, Desenzano del Garda, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples, Bari, Pescara, Senigallia, Catania, Cagliari, Palermo and Sassari. In all the clubs present in these cities members will be able to get tested, anonymously and free of charge, for HIV and will be provided with essential information regarding prevention and the importance of getting tested for HIV and other STDs.

WE TEST aims to foster collaborations with other associations more frequently in order to shed more light on such an important and unfortunately neglected issue.

This initiative wants to raise awareness the importance of testing for STDs which, together with the use of condoms, are great allies for living a safe and informed sex life: knowing your status allows you to intervene in time, live well and avoid further risks of infection.
